Bookish thoughts!!!

Venturing out of my comfort zone and posting something else than a book review. Tag time.

 

Do you have a certain place in your home for reading?

My bed. 99,9% of my reading gets done in my bed.

 

Bookmark or random piece of paper?

Bookmark. I have so many of them that there's always one lying around when I need it.

 

Can you  just stop reading or do you have to stop read after a chapter / certain number of pages?

It's such a pet peeve of mine when I have to stop in the middle of a chapter. I always finish the chapter before ending.

 

Do you eat or drink while read?

If I'm reading on my tablet, I have no problem eating or drinking, but I won't take any chances with an actual book.

 

Multitasking: music or TV while reading?

Depends on the story. If it's an easy read, I have no problem listening to music or having the tv in the background.

 

One book at a time or several at once?

Several.

 

Reading at home or everywhere?

I read everywhere. That's the only reason I have to have my phone with me when I go out of the house, which isn't that often anyway. But when I know there is a bus ride that's longer than ten minutes, I have my kindle app on my phone. I don't take actual books with me anymore. Only if I'm going out for a longer period of time.

 

Reading out loud or silently in your head?

Silently in my head.

 

Do you read ahead or even skip pages?

No skipping.

 

Barking the spine or keeping it like new?

I try. I try. But I don't get mad when something happens with the spine.

 

Do you write in your books?

Not often, but it happened once or twice. I wanted to mark a passage and didn't have any post it thingys with me.
