Bookish thoughts!!!

That book totally enchanted me.

I love the characters, Isra and Gem. Also Needle, I just live for these little side characters that are just the greatest and most supportive people. And needle was just that and more, I love how she got her own little happy end.

I totally appreciated how slowly the relationship between Gem and Isra grew. How they not only loved each other but how they learned and grew through the other person. How their believes changed and how they took in upon themselves to change how their world was working.

Bo. I'm not sure about Bo. I went kinda back and forth between liking him, hating him, not liking him but getting were he is coming from. But yeah, maybe it will take  some time until I'm sure how to feel about him.

Favorite quote in the book:

"Beauty is wherever you find it, and Beast is there when you need to defend it.".

Overall this is an amazing book with an intriguing story that has just a little bit of the classics of Beauty and the Beast with a fantasy twist to it. Wonderful, layered characters and really great writing.
