Ich glaube ich habe es schon bei der letzten Review erwähnt aber ich muss es einfach wiederholen, ich liebe es wieder in der Welt von Eve Dallas zu sein!!!

Inhalt: Der Computerspiele-Tycoon Bart Minnock wird tot in seinem Haus gefunden. Der sympathische und temperamentvolle Millionär schien keine Feinde zu haben. Doch Erfolg zieht immer Neider nach sich, denn im Geschäft mit virtuellen Fantasien geht es um viel Geld, Macht und Rivalitäten - und es wird mit schmutzigen Tricks gespielt. Das weiß auch Roarke, Eves Ehemann und Konkurrent von Minnock. Jetzt gilt es für Eve und ihr Team, das nächste Level möglichst schnell zu erreichen. Was, wenn die Spieler mit ihrem Leben bezahlen müssen?

Der Fall war echt richtig heftig und sehr brutal, aber auch so interessant. Die futuristische Technik!!!!! Das war immer schon ein Teil der Buchserie, wer mir immer super gefallen hat, dadurch, dass die Reihe in der Zukunft spielt, finde ich es super interessant, was die Technik zu bieten hat. In diesem Band sind wir da noch mehr eingetaucht und haben Dinge erlebt, die selbst für die Zeit um 2050 noch sehr futuristisch waren. So so so gut!!!

Bei den Charakteren, fand ich auch so ein paar Momente unheimlich klasse. McNab und Peabody undercover war eins meiner absoluten Highlights. Dann hatten wir tolle Momente mit Eve und Nadine. Ich hab es schon oft erwähnt aber ich liebe die verschiedenen Freundschaften zwischen den Frauen in der Buchreihe. Und natürlich Roarke und Eve. Gerade zum Ende zu, ich will ja nichts verraten aber da war der eine Moment, der mein Herz wirklich schwer hat werden lassen. Ich liebe die Beiden einfach!!!!

I'm pretty sure I already mentioned it in my last review but man, I love being back in the world of Eve Dallas.

Summary: Bart Minnock, founder of the computer gaming giant U-Play, is found in his locked private playroom, in a pool of blood, his head separated from his body. Despite his violent end, Eve can’t find anyone—girlfriend and business partners included—who seemed to have a problem with the enthusiastic, high-spirited millionaire.

Of course gaming, like any business, has its fierce rivalries and dirty tricks—as Eve’s husband, Roarke, one of U-Play’s competitors, knows well. But Minnock was not naïve, and he knew how to fight back in the real world as well as the virtual one.

Eve and her team are about to enter the next level of police work, in a world where fantasy is the ultimate seduction—and the price of defeat is death...

That case was intense and so so brutal but also very interesting. The futuristic technology!!!!! One of my favorite things about this bookseries, is that it's set in the future and I love seeing technological things that I can't even imagine right now. In this book we got to dive even deeper in this and got to see things that even for that time, around 2050, are still futuristic and new. SO SO SO GOOD!!!!

This book also had some great moments for the characters. McNab and Peabody undercover was one of my favorite things. Then we had these great moments between Eve and Nadine. I can't mention enough how much I love the female friendships in these books. And of course, Roarke and Eve. Especially towards the end, without saying too much, there was this moment that made my heart super heavy. I just love these two so much.
